Please find below answers to some of our most Frequently Asked Questions.


Q: Am I able to begin my Online Programme and come back to it when I have time.

A: Yes, to log back into your online course you will need to log into your TrainSTA account (by visiting www.trainsta.co.uk and using the login box on the left hand side of the page). Once logged in you need to go to “My Account” (located on the blue bar across the top of the page). From here you can access your online programme(s) by clicking the “My Programmes” button.


Q: Can I access my TrainSTA account and Online Programme(s) from any computer?

A: Yes, providing the computer has internet connection, you are able to access your TrainSTA account and Online Programme(s) from any computer, anywhere!


Q: When I make a purchase it opens in a new window. Should this be happening?

A: Yes, when making a purchase, this will open in a new window to ensure your session is maintained.


Q: When I try to make a purchase I keep getting directed to a blank page or my basket is showing as empty.

A: We advise you clear your “Cookies” by going into your “Internet Options” of your web browser.


Q: When I am registering/updating an account with TrainSTA it keeps advising me that the form is invalid.

A: If you are being advised that your registration form is invalid this usually means that you have either not completed a field at all or not completed it correctly. All fields which have not been completed or have not been completed correctly will be highlighted in red.


Q: I have forgotten my password for my TrainSTA account.

A: If you have forgotten your password simply click the “Forgot your password?” link located in the Log in box on the left hand side of the page. You will be prompted to enter your email address in order for you to receive an email notifying you of your new password.


Q: Confirmation emails are being delivered to my Junk Folder in my email account.

A: It is strongly recommended that you add feedback@sta.co.uk to your email client’s safe list to ensure all communications are delivered successfully to your inbox.


Q: I have been invited to complete an Online Progamme. What do I do now?

A: If you have been invited to complete an Online Programme you should have received an email notifying you of this.

(Please note: If you have not received an email it is strongly advised you add feedback@sta.co.uk to your email clients safe list to ensure you receive all communications from STA. You will then need to contact your Programme Organiser and advise them you require the invitation email resending. It is also possible your email is in your Junk Folder of your email client).

You will first need to update your account before receiving access to your Online Course. To update your account please follow the instructions below:

  • Visit www.trainsta.co.uk and log in (using the Login box on the left hand side of the page) using your email address and temporary password as detailed within your invitation email.
  • Click “Complete Registration”.
  • Complete the fields shown and click “Submit”.
  • Click “My Account” located on the blue bar across the top of the page.
  • Click the “My Programmes” button.

Your Online Programme will now be shown along with details in order to begin.


Q: I have not received my invitation email to start my Online Programme.

A: If you have not received your invitation email it is strongly advised you add feedback@sta.co.uk to your email clients safe list to ensure you receive all future communications from STA. You will then need to contact your Programme Organiser and advise them you require the invitation email resending.

It is also possible your email is in your Junk Folder of your email client.


Q: What happens if my RFU Emergency First Aid course is cancelled?

A: If STA has to cancel your practical date of your RFU Emergency First Aid course (usually due to insufficient numbers) then we will allow you to transfer to another venue to complete your practical based training for no additional charge. However if you require a refund, these will be made less £20.00 administration fee. This covers the cost of candidates receiving the access code to complete their online course.
